As an experienced DG Program Manager, you will be working with different customers in Belgium and beyond to plan and implement their data transformation programs. As you can expect, this is a senior position reporting to C-level and working with different levels across the organization. What is the job of a Senior Data Analyst, really?
You’ll be part of our professional services team and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
Manages the monthly data governance program committees, including preparation, document development.
Engages with different customers to understand business objectives, challenges, and areas of opportunity for data governance initiatives.
Aligns with functional business and tech teams to identify gaps, synergies, and suggest process and communication improvements.
Partners with internal and/or external subject matter experts to identify data governance objectives, project parameters, and resource requirements.
Analyses workflows and identify issues, roadblocks, or areas for effectiveness or efficiency improvement.
Develops recommendations to streamline, reduce cost, enhance effectiveness, improve workflows, or improve the customer experience outcomes of targeted processes.
Develops and collects monthly KPIs for the Data Governance program.
Develops an intake process to manage data governance initiatives.
Ensures adherence to the company’s principles, values, policies, and guidelines.
What do you already have:
Master’s Degree and 7-10 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Highly organized individual with understanding of project management principles.
Knowledge of data governance practices and information management needs in the business and IT domains.
Large-scale data, analytics, and program management experience is required.
Able to interact and lead meetings with senior management.
Ability to translate and effectively communicate abstract concepts into an easy to comprehend package.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Applies basic research, information gathering, and analytical skills to select appropriate alternatives from defined options, collect required documentation and verify conformance with standards, assess accuracy of detailed information.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Identifies and pursues process improvement opportunities based on risk controls, customer experience, efficiencies, and other business-focused factors.
Ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of cross functional teams and leadership.
Excellent communication including written, verbal and listening skills.
Excellent visual, analytical and problem- solving skills required.
Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Collibra and Survey Tools
